It's been two weeks, and it looks like our Kitten may be gone for good.
We have plastered the neighborhood with posters, put up notices at every vet and pet/supply store, and made sure all his microchip data was up to date. We've scoured the shelters and the county and city animal control facilities. I've checked the "dead logs" of everything that's been scraped off the pavement within a 30-mile radius.
No Kitten.
We have a preserve behind us, and have been hearing many more coyotes and a general increase in the wildlife in the past few months.
I fear he's become what my uncle refers to as a "Coyote Cookie."
